Description
We are looking for an enthusiastic and driven Crane Sales Engineer to join our team in Vadodara. This role involves promoting and selling Sparkline’s range of crane systems and related solutions to clients in the region. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales, building and maintaining strong client relationships, and ensuring customer satisfaction through technical expertise and tailored solutions.

Responsibilities
Sales and Business Development:

  • Identify and target new business opportunities for crane systems within the region.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets and revenue goals.
  • Conduct site visits, presentations, and demonstrations for potential customers.

Client Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders.
  • Act as a primary point of contact for clients, addressing any concerns and providing technical advice.
  • Gather feedback to improve client satisfaction and expand market presence.

Technical Consultation:

  • Provide technical support and consultation to clients regarding crane specifications, applications, and compatibility.
  • Understand client requirements and recommend appropriate solutions, ensuring alignment with Sparkline’s product capabilities.

Market Research and Analysis:

  • Stay informed on market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments.
  • Provide insights and recommendations for product development or modification based on market needs.

Quotations and Proposals:

  • Prepare and deliver detailed proposals and quotations to clients, working closely with the technical and finance teams.
  • Follow up on proposals to convert leads into sales effectively.

Reporting:

  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and progress in the CRM system.
  • Provide regular updates and reports to the Sales Manager on sales performance and potential opportunities.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or relevant Engineering field.
  • Proven experience in industrial sales, preferably in crane systems or material handling equipment.
  • Strong technical knowledge in crane systems and applications.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet sales targets.
  • Willingness to travel within the region as needed.
