Description
The Engineer – Project Execution will be responsible for overseeing the automation, installation, and commissioning of conveyor and EMS (Electric Monorail Systems) projects. This role includes planning, executing, and delivering projects on time, within scope, and within budget. The engineer will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth project operations and address any technical challenges that may arise.

Responsibilities
Project Planning & Execution:

• Coordinate with the project team to develop project plans, timelines, and resource allocation for the automation of conveyor and EMS systems.
• Manage and monitor the entire project lifecycle from initiation to execution, ensuring milestones are met.

Installation & Commissioning:

• Oversee installation, commissioning, and testing of conveyor and EMS systems at client sites.
• Ensure compliance with technical specifications, safety regulations, and quality standards.

Troubleshooting & Support:

• Provide technical support and troubleshooting during project implementation and post-installation to ensure optimal system performance.
• Address and resolve any on-site challenges or discrepancies that may impact project timelines or quality.

Stakeholder Coordination:

• Liaise with clients, suppliers, and internal departments to ensure clear communication and alignment on project objectives and progress.
• Conduct regular project reviews and provide updates to the project manager and other stakeholders.

Documentation & Reporting:

• Maintain accurate project documentation, including site reports, technical specifications, and progress reports.
• Prepare project completion reports and ensure all project records are filed according to company policies.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Mechanical/Automation Engineering or a related field.
• Experience: 2-5 years of experience in project execution, specifically with conveyor systems or EMS. Experience in automation will be an advantage.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in PLC programming, SCADA, and automation control systems.
• Strong understanding of conveyor systems, material handling equipment, and EMS.
• Knowledge of safety standards and regulatory compliance in industrial automation.

Soft Skills:

• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to manage client relationships and project teams.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

Additional Requirements:

• Willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and adapt to changing project requirements.
